This incredible bar was designed by Home Studios (homestudios.nyc), his interior design is very vintage, here you can see the mix of great decor and cinema, comfort, but the cocktails are so good and makes you feel all the ambiance.

 

“ribbed surfaces, soft colors and teardrop-shaped details to create an

interior that looks part postmodern cafe and part Viennese speakeasy.” 

 

 

Bibo Ergo Sum has the right name, because in Latin means – “I drink, therefore I am”, the bar is the first to open in West Hollywood’s recently revamped Robertson Plaza area.  The classic details give you welcome to 1960’s, where you can have the perfect dinking spot in a relaxed and quirky setting.

But this design takes inspiration from  Vienna’s architecture from the 1900’s, as well as vintage French movies. Even in the pictures, you are able to feel the aesthetic presence of the 1967 movie The Graduate.

“Everything from the rigid symmetry of the space to the strict color palette, to the tinted lighting and glass, as well as the blacked-out ceiling, are meant to create an experience as transportive as a trip to the cinema,”

– said one of the designers.

 

 

The corners are formed by semi-closed areas where the decoration has light pink ribbed cushioning, forming backrests for the built-in seating. You also can see in the middle of the high-mounted tables for two each have their own mirrored backdrop and domed pendant lamp above.
